Mankaran Singh is the Technical Director and Co-Owner of Men At Work Stagecraft Management Pvt. Ltd., a Chennai-based company specializing in large-scale event infrastructure and stagecraft solutions. He joined the company in 2008 after a stint at Goldman Sachs and an internship with Magic Oxide Design Studio, Mumbai.

In his role, Mankaran leads all trussing and rigging operations and is widely regarded as one of India’s most experienced professionals in this domain. He has undergone extensive rigging and structural training with leading global manufacturers such as Milos Structural Systems (Czech Republic) and Prolyte (Netherlands).

He has also trained under some of the most respected names in the industry, including Norbert Tripp (Technical Director, Area Four Industries), Marc Hendriks (Technical Director, Sixty82), Harold Waldack (ICRC France & AsiaRig), and Eric Porter (Senior Assessor, National Rigging Council, UK).

Since 2019, Mankaran has been actively contributing to the industry’s growth by organizing and conducting trussing and rigging workshops across India, with a strong emphasis on safety standards and best practices for temporary structures.

As an independent rigging consultant, he has led rigging operations for major international productions including the U2 Joshua Tree Tour, Lollapalooza India, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran’s tours.
