Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) is the largest and permanent exhibition centre, in the private sector, in India and was set up in 1991. BEC has hosted several prestigious international trade fairs/ exhibitions ever since. The centre is ideally situated along the Western Express Highway in Goregaon, within 10 minutes from airports, walking distance to train stations and a 20-minute drive from the heart of the city. Cars can be arranged by hotel and travel agents. Rates vary according to the car hired.
Metered Taxi (non-AC)
Taxis are cheap and plentiful. Most taxis in Mumbai are small-medium sized cars (non air-conditioned), painted black-and-yellow (black on lower body and yellow on roof).
Minimum tariff is Rs. 21 for first 1.5 km. Additional fare to be paid as per tariff card available with the driver.
Auto Rickshaw
Auto Rickshaw can be hailed off the street. Minimum tariff is Rs. 18 for first 1.5 km. Additional fare to be paid as per tariff, card available with the driver.
